More has been happening besides my burning desire to talk movies. I've just been without a computer, and can't always sit down with it when it's here.
I've gotten a new drivers license (always trauma for me when we move), bought new dishes (they make me happy!), three of the three necessary evils I hate to shop for (brassiers, swim suits and jeans), acquired a cold/cough, and "traveled" back to 1925 where I nearly almost did Mr. Bemmington Frath in (but I didn't!). I'm also trying to get some sewing in for a deadline, keep the counters sufficiently cluttered so I don't bake and use every dish in the kitchen, not let the milk go sour, and drown the ants in my shower. (yes, folks, they're back.) I've got more to say about each item...so hopefully this week we'll see something new around here! thanks for your patience!

- What's there to say? I'm working on my seventh house, in the fourth state in eight years. (Some of the cardboard has seen it all.) I don't know of any permanent solution to the ant problem, but the boric acid (ask for it in the pharmacy) solution that Earl makes takes them out fairly well, and they at least think twice about coming back soon. Google "homemade ant bait" or something similar, and you should be able to find it. Good luck. Keep fighting!
i feel for you with that shopping thing. i also hate getting new sister lifters. reminds me how far the poor girls have moved.
that ant thing must be old by now. you poor woman!! just think how proficient you are becoming in pest extermination. yeah, i'm totally trying to help by pointing out a positive...but, that's all i got...
