I've been asked to be an assistant to the Stake Camp Leader for Girls Camp this year. Wow. After the overwhelming feelings of ineptitude pass, I'm kind of excited. =) My adventure last year at Girls Camp was ....an adventure. (Girls Camp is for the teenage girls in our church congregation--we "camp" (term can mean different things in different places) for around 5 days in the great outdoors--the girls either love or hate it.)
So. If any of y'all have great ideas about camp-either from attending as a youth or going as a leader or just hearing it was fun--send them my way! Themes, activities, schedule, class, talks, etc. I'd love to get some new ideas! =)

All I can say is that you are one brave girl, and that those YW are going to love your happy, fun loving personality (And all those deep muscle massages . . . ) You go Girl!

You will have so much fun. It's a crazy, wonderful time, that camp! Last year my sister was camp director and they did an Amazing Race theme, but made it very spiritual. A few years ago here, they did a Disney Princess theme - actually done well although may sound girly. Anyhow, let me know if you need any info. on those! Good luck - may the force be with you. P.S. - we made your sloppy joes last night. One of our favorites!
